Other places of note.

Grimsburg boasts several parks located near the town hall, the west marsh and the fresh knee.
The house of Elminster lies empty currently but is the largest building in Grimsburg. Looking over Grimsburg docks.
The town hall is the centre of Grimsburgs council activity. These ancient halls have seen many changes in the political structure of the town. Lords and governors have been and gone. The building has even been subject to a large explosion! Adventurers themselves have found that they have had to step in to fill the roles as council members. This is the place where adventurers are often hired to fulfil mission on behalf of the town.

The courthouse on Brigandgate has a shrine to Sidhea, interrogation room and several prison cell
Private residences. Most of the houses in Grimsburg have been filled since the last invasion, yet there are a number of private dwellings (including a few town houses with large estates surrounding them) standing empty and unoccupied.
Sea caves: located outside the town wall near the west gate. On the edge of the land above the sands dunes are a number of small caves. These caves have been used over the years as temporary shelter for those walking on the beach or, for those who spend the night out, to watch the sun rise over the sea on the following morn. They have in the past been used for smuggling and more sinister purposes, but today most are clean, dry and relatively safe.
Beyond Grimsburg

There are a number of towns and villages in the Grimsburg area: Humblestown, Cleeby, stone on the bay, Caistell, Rothwell (dwarven community). There are also several forts, on land and at sea. The treacherous Killinghome and dull, often oppose Grimsburg in any way they can.
The local woodlands have various colonies and tribes such as the wild elves of the blight wood whom appeared under strange circumstances and is connected to Cornelius the Alshanti. There are many small shrines to the seven and the dark gods out side of Grimsburgs walls. Most noted are the remains of the wolfs’ lair and the Laburnum shrine both dedicated to Longstor in the Sonia wood south of that is a stone circle blessed in the name of both Vleybor and Kharach, as well as many others besides.

Cleeby

This is the closest town to Grimsburg, having strong trading ties and a common history. There are a few features of note in Cleeby; it has a high proportion of dance halls, taverns and inns considering it’s small population. Other entertainments include warthog wrestling and pan fighting. Baron Cleeby is well liked and a good businessman.
Moss castle The entrance to Cleeby is through this ancient structure, that provides a powerful defense against incursions by land.
The forts Another well-known structures associated with Cleeby are built within the entrance to the river Hume. Ox and bull fort both capable of holding 200 guards, fitted with 10 ballista and defensive arrow slits on every side. These forts played the most important role against the last Limanussian invasion, proving 100 percent successful in repelling the invaders.

Stone on the bay

Recently liberated, from the occupation of a strange cult called the Concordium; led by Illadarious. Probably the most bizarre time that the residents of Grimsburg had ever experienced. Abductions of villagers and the mask wearing mimes they became, through the unique powers of Illadarious. A half demon known as shade, and an emotionally disturbed Alshanti, named Cornelius, (who still lives today, dwelling with wild elves in an isolated woodland retreat), aided the now defeated warlock. Illadarious and shade were beaten by a combination of adventures, (the bravest of the brave), the leper mage and lord shards’: Jangah-lar {orc-elite} and also Illadarious’s old master, who battled his pupil in a spell duel and lost.
Lord Ruben blade, brother to the adventuring Crowan father Kaiser blade, who died facing the demonic shade, now runs stone on the bay. The brothers Alemander (Kharachian) and Dran (Crowan) Du’Arth also fell during these times.
